My recent stay at the hotel was a pleasant surprise. the location was ideal for a stopover on our journey back from Scotland, and the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. the easy parking and access to the accommodation made our arrival stress-free. The annexe itself was a great space, with a comfortable bed and fantastic facilities. I appreciated the kitchen area, complete with a toaster, microwave, and sink for washing up. the continental breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of options to choose from. the chocolate-filled croissants were a lovely touch. One thing to note is the sloping ceilings in the annexe, as shown in the photos. While my partner and I are both quite short and didn't have any issues, I did accidentally bump into one of the slopes once. However, this wouldn't deter us from staying again in the future. The room itself was spacious and quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep. I particularly enjoyed the self-serve breakfast option, which allowed us to eat at our own pace. the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was top-notch, and the guest information book provided helpful suggestions for local dining options. Overall, our experience at the hotel was excellent. From the warm welcome to the comfortable accommodations and generous breakfast, we couldn't have asked for more. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient stay. It truly ranks among the best B&Bs I have visited over the years.
